Football Betting: Las Vegas College Football Season Win Totals Released

By Robert Ferringo

It’s been a wild 24 hours in football betting news. The obvious headline is that the NFL appears to be at the finish line of their labor negotiations and that it is looking like the NFL season will get underway this week with a shotgun start. In my mind there was never any doubt that we would have a full 17-week NFL season and that a deal would be figured out, but it is still great news to finally get down to the nitty-gritty of forming the teams so that us handicappers can get to work.

But another significant development took place last night for college football bettors and that was the Las Vegas Hilton releasing the first college football numbers of the year: the college football season win totals and college football season win over/unders.

I received the list that I have below last night at about 11 p.m. EST. I’m sure that the heavy hitters and the sharps out in Vegas were just DYING to get some football-related action down, so some of these numbers have probably moved already. But having the initial list is still helpful because it will allow you to see where the money has been pushing the numbers.

Also, there is only 35 teams listed here. I fully expect a lot more numbers to come out within the next two weeks - perhaps as many as 50 or 55 teams at the high end - but for right now these are the only teams that The Hilton feels comfortable taking action on.

Here is a look at the early release college football season win totals from the Las Vegas Hilton:
